Are we being dangerously remiss when it comes to making them wear the necessary armour against illnesses that belong in history books?"<br /><br />I would argue that we WRONGLY govern guns, seat belts, drugs, etc. We do not wait until harm has been caused, we jack people up because they MIGHT sometime in the future cause harm. This is tyranny.<br /><br />I am ambivalent about Mandatory Vaccination. I'm pretty clear that the vaccination for measles is a small risk (and not of autism) for a worthwhile outcome. I have no such faith in all vaccinations, and have a deep and permanent suspicion of all government buttinskiism. <br /><br />I propose that we amend existing law such that an unvaccinated person who is identified as a vector for an outbreak is punished. Make them pay for the consequences of their idiocy. <br /><br />Don't give the government the authority to inject you with God knows what, because it says that it is a good thing. C. S. P.
